More games to play
Pixel Combat: Zombies Strike is a first-person shooter played free in the browser, no download needed. You hold a position inside a zombie-infested house, push back waves of undead, and work toward building a time machine that might get you out. It runs on any device and is accessible at school or work where browser games are allowed. The pixel 3D style keeps load times low while still giving you a real arsenal to work through.
What is Pixel Combat: Zombies Strike?
This is a wave-survival FPS set inside a pixel-art house crawling with zombies. Each round you fend off attackers, explore secret rooms, and collect resources to craft weapons and restock ammo. The core loop adds a light roguelike mode alongside the main story, and the game includes a pixel take on a well-known zombie survival mode. Bosses show up with unique abilities rather than just higher health bars, so you need to adjust your approach each time one appears.

Weapons and what they cost you
The arsenal covers close quarters through sustained suppression. Crafting lets you build or restock most weapons using materials found in the house.
| Weapon | Best use |
|---|---|
| Knife / axe | Silent close-range kill when ammo is low |
| Pistol | Early waves, conserves craft materials |
| Rifle | Medium range, good accuracy per shot |
| Shotgun | Tight corridors and doorways |
| Machine gun | Sustained fire on large groups |
| Flamethrower | Area denial on choke points |
| Minigun | Boss fights and late heavy waves |
Game modes
Three distinct ways to play keep the session length flexible. The story mode runs until you finish building the time machine. The zombie survival mode is a pixel recreation of a format players will recognize from other games. Roguelike mode layers procedural upgrades and ultimate abilities onto the wave formula, with F and P mapped only in that mode.
Staying alive longer
- Check every corner for secret rooms before the next wave starts. Resources there are often the difference between crafting a shotgun and fighting with a pistol.
- Reload during lulls, not mid-pack. Keeping R topped off avoids the worst timing.
- Bosses telegraph their abilities with a short animation. Back off, let it finish, then push.
- In roguelike mode, pick ultimates that match your current weapon loadout rather than grabbing whatever is offered.
- On tight maps, the flamethrower at a doorway clears faster than any gun.
